WELCOME!

We as a group chose TEACHING AND LEARNING TIME as the name of our E-folio because it is the best title to describe the process of teaching and learning. During our practicum teaching at kindergarten, we could realize how important  teaching is, but if it does not go hand in hand with learning, teaching is an in vain process. We figured out that both teachers and students must take into account that while we teach, we learn also. 

We believe students are the ultimately  responsible for their learning, so this process is the result of interaction among the students, the teachers, the classmates, the content, the situation and the context. Therefore,The process of learning and teaching is socially constructed as “teachers” and “learners” through developed, communicative and negotiate objectives, so knowledge and skills cooperate together. 

Putting learning at the center of all; it means that teachers, students, classmates have a good relationship, is the key to achieve a meaningful learning. We must always start setting up our objectives, and when we make a decision or a choice about our approaches in teaching, we should ask ourselves: “how this will impact student learning in their development?”. This should be the primary guiding question for making choices and decisions in all units and at all levels of the institution. The desire and the skills to engage in life long learning is a goal we have to achive not only for teachers, but also for students.
